Fort McDowell Rally and Annual Meeting

Ft McDowell was established in 1893 to protect travelers going thru the Apache Indian territory. Today the buildings have been totally destroyed by weather conditions and are now replaced with one of Arizona’s  modern Resorts, We-Ko-Pa . The Eagle View campground where our rally will be held is across the highway from this resort. They are both located 2 miles from Fountain Hills which is a new growing community East of Scottsdale Arizona.

Our annual business meeting will be held at this rally, but let me assure you the rally will be filled with fun packed events including:

The Musical Instrument Museum is one of the best kept secrets in America. There is so much to see and do -- you could literally spend a day there looking, browsing, listening, and playing. The Musical Instrument Museum  has a collection of 15,000 musical instruments as well as multimedia exhibits. The collection of musical instruments comes from every corner of the world. Many so strange, they are exhibited along with an instructional video. Visitors get the opportunity to learn diverse music styles that exist around the globe. The museum also has live performances held at its theater.

Tech Talk with Eric Olstrom owner of Olstrom Custom Coach in Tucson

Free day activities including:

Golf at the We-Ko-Pa golf course. This is voted as the number 6 best public golf courses to play in the United States. It is on the expensive side but well worth it!
Shopping at the famous Scottsdale 5th avenue mall

On the registration form you will be asked if your rv is over 10 years old. If so, you will have to submit a picture of your RV. This is becoming a standard question at many nice resorts. My Monaco passed and knowing all the coaches in our club they will also pass their test.

Betty and I look forward to seeing you at this  important but fun-packed rally. Please contact me with any questions you may have about the rally or registration.
